E-Scooters Are Now Available for Rent in Filinvest, Alabang

(SPOT.ph) Filinvest in Alabang, Muntinlupa, is one of the few walkable neighborhoods in Metro Manila. It has wide sidewalks, plenty of open spaces, and dedicated bike lanes. If you wish to explore more of the "Garden City of the South," you can rent an electronic kick scooter (e-scooter) at Central Park through the Moovr PH mobile app.

The kick scooter rental cost is P30 for 10 minutes (or a fraction thereof). This means that the use of 11 minutes will already cost you P60. It is available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

How to rent an e-scooter in Filinvest, Alabang, Muntinlupa:

• Download the Moovr app on your Android and iOS devices
• Use the mobile app to scan the QR code on one of the e-scooters. You can now ride the device.
• After use, return the e-scooter to the designated parking station and hit the end button on your Moovr app. Moovr hubs are shown on the app with blue marks.

Reminders on the use of Moovr e-scooters:

• To slow down, release the throttle button, then smoothly pull the brake lever on your left.
• To lock the e-scooter, push the lever down.
• Stay on Personal Mobility Device lanes (a.k.a. bike lanes).
• Be mindful of pedestrians and give way.
• Obey traffic rules and use hand signals when turning.
• Return your e-scooter if the battery is below 15%.
• Park the rented ride properly. Abandoning a vehicle outside the hubs may result in the permanent termination of the account.
